Our latest additions to the farm include a pair of Clydesdale mares, that we will be using as tractor and delivery truck, as they have 4 wheel drive and don’t require diesel, which has skyrocketed in price.
We have a flock of free range chickens that live in portable housing so that we can move them to fresh ground throughout the year. Our free range pigs are part of that rotation too, pork is available at times for the locavores.
Turkeys take their turn every fall with orders taken for Thanksgiving birds only, they run on the recently harvested wheat. Due to the variety of produce & animals that we grow we only have a limited amount for sale of any one product at any time.
We do guarantee that in the 25 years we’ve worked the farm we don’t use hebicides, pesticides, nor any medicated feed and we work hard to ensure respect for the soil & the animals that live, grow & die here.
Here is a video clip from the summer of our yearling Irish Sport Horse cross Welsh Cob called Ollie.

Beautiful videos!! So nice to see a happy pig doing happy pig duties .. (I just can’t stand what factory farming does to pigs…. ). Ollie is stunning!
I will have to come and buy from your farm .. when I visit from Salt Spring.
